GIVEAWAY: Modest Middles Nursing Tank

October 4, 2010

in Giveaways

No, this isn’t me in the video.

That's me in all my morning glory. Ignore the wet hair. Focus on the awesome nude colored Modest Middle I'm wearing.

I’m hosting my very first giveaway!  Before I had Amelia, I totally overthought my nursing wardrobe, that is, until I discovered Modest Middles.  I own five of them in three different colors and I’m not exaggerating when I say I wear one almost every day (as in five days a week).  After Amelia, my belly is, let’s say, not my favorite body part, so I like I can cover it while also easily nursing throughout the day.  The material is stretchy and that helped provide a great fit while I lost the baby weight.  I wore them right after giving birth and still wear them today.  I put on a Modest Middle and put any shirt over top; this helps expand my nursing wardrobe; in fact, I don’t really have a separate nursing wardrobe anymore.

I contacted Amy, the owner of Modest Middles, to see if she’d participate in a giveaway and she nicely agreed.  She is a mom of five who invented Modest Middles and started selling them in October ’08.

Even if you aren’t currently nursing, you should enter.  If you are pregnant and plan to nurse, this will be a staple in your wardrobe.  If you’re thinking of a good baby shower gift, this is also it.  The sizes are really flexible, so I wouldn’t worry about picking the wrong size.

HOW TO ENTER:  I’m running the giveaway until noon (pacific time) on October 15 and will pick a winner using randomizer.org.  Entering is really easy.  Go to the Modest Middles website, then come back and leave a comment to this post with the size (S,M,L) and color (nude, white, black) you’d prefer.  I’ll email the winner on October 15.  Limit one entry per person.

I would love to win one! I would prefer black, and I’m guessing a Large, but maybe an XL? I couldn’t find a size chart on the site. I so wish I had these with my first two!!!

What a GREAT product! Love it!!!! Wish I had one with all my kids, on the fourth now and have nursed with all of them. I hated all the nursing tops out there and this solves that problem :)

I would love to have M Black.

Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway and letting the gDiaper group know about it. :)

Haha- I love your disclaimer under the video. These are amazing! I can’t believe I haven’t grilled you about nursing clothes yet. If selected, I would like the medium in black, por favor. The new site looks awesome! Way to go Mama!

I wish I had known about these 5 months ago- I only nurse in the privacy of my home, and even then not in front of anyone because I don’t want my tummy to be exposed! I would love one of these- small white would be great!

This sounds wonderful. Ashley just had a baby and Lindsay is due in February. I think they are both medium and like black. If I don’t win, they’ll be getting modest middles for Christmas. Thank you….love your blog and podcasts :)

What a great idea these are! Besides being discreet, they would also help keep cool drafts off now that winter is coming! I’d love a medium black one.

This would be perfect for nursing twins tandem (if I can manage to figure that out)! I think black in a medium.

This is great! I never wanted to spend the money on nursing tops for Lily but it really would have been nice to have one of these. I would love a small in white for baby #2.

PS Love your blog and your podcast!

Wonderful idea! Are these cotton? I’d want one in a Large in Black. I hate the styling of nursing clothes, so this would be wonderful, especially if it’s cotton. That’s the other thing I hate about most nursing, and maternity garments, they are rayon and not cotton and this has been the “hottest,” most uncomfortable year.

These are really GREAT!! I ALWAYS have used regular tops, but this is an easy discreet way to nurse practically. I would be interested in a medium white. I like the idea of layering especially now that it isn’t 97 degrees everyday. :)

Thank you!!

Looks like a great product! I’d like a white in L. Since it is randomizer.org, I know there won’t be any special treatment :)

I would choose the white in a small…at least I am hoping that’ll be my size when nursing!
